10 Kenyan families are identified around Kigumo arrea. The coming year they will see a biogasinstallation installed on their compound. The girls of these families will no longer have to look for firewood but are able to go to school!
WELCOME TO THE BYE FOUNDATION
The BYE (Boosting Young Entrepreneurs) Foundation boosts entrepreneurship in Africa. BYE foundation runs two main programs in Kenya:
1) Boosting Entrepreneurs program: helps those who see opportunities to build a livelihood in Africa’s rural areas but lack some of the necessary resources to get their business idea off the ground. BYE provides them loans: see [projects] -> [BYE program]
2) Green Girls Project: the Domestic Biogas installation program for rural families: see [projects] -> [Domestic Biogas (GGP project)]
Someone can adopt a family in Kigumo and provide them with a biogasinstallation. Depending on it’s size necessary for the family unit it can be between €400 and €860. If you and your family/friends are interested in providing a rural family with a biogasinstallation please contact us through: info@byefoundation.org
